Zebra GK420D

The GK420D is a direct thermal printer and falls under the one of the most modern desktop devices from Zebra. The GK420D is a fine printer because of its small size and easy operation. The label printer uses the direct thermal printing technology, therefore no ink (ribbon) or toner is needed!

You can control this printer with either the EPL or ZPL programming languages. The printer has a print quality of 203 dpi, which is a very good quality! The GK420D has a maximum print speed of 5 ips.

The GK420D also features a parallel, serial and USB port. The GK420D is fine for windows, but for MAC there is no official driver or support for this printer, you can then install a compatible driver so that the printer does support MAC.

But which Zebra labels do you need for this label printer? The printer is suitable for labels with a width of 25 to 104 mm and a core of 25 mm, these are the small rolls. If you prefer to use the large rolls, with a core of 76 mm, you can use an external roll holder!

Zebra ZD420D

One of the most popular Zebra label printer to print labels with is the ZD420D. This is a desktop printer that prints direct thermal. It is user-friendly and its small size means it does not easily get in the way.

The Zebra label printer has a resolution of 203dpi and has a maximum print speed of 6 ips. The ZD420D works with the EPL and ZPL programming languages. This printer is also suitable for Windows, if you want to use it with a MAC, please install a compatible driver first, as also indicated above.

Zebra ZT230

The ZT230 is an intermediate model from Zebra and suitable for printing labels quickly and easily. This printer offers a good solution if you are looking for a printer for shipping labels.

This Zebra label printer, unlike the previously mentioned printers above, is an industrial printer rather than a desktop printer. This printer features a polymer casing and is extremely user-friendly.

What Zebra labels do you need for this Zebra label printer? The printer prints at a resolution of 300 dpi and can be used for labels up to 104 mm wide. The labels you can use from our webshop are the ones with the size 102 x 210 mm and with a core of 25 mm or 76 mm.
